Return on Investment

The return on investment is a valuable number in that it refers to the ratio of how much money was earned or lost during the course of an investment. This is measured by taking the final value of an investment and having it subtracted by the investment’s original value. It is then divided by the original value. When the percentage is higher then the return on investment will be greater and more profitable.
