The Kyoto protocol is an international treaty on the environment, developed by UNCED. The Kyoto Protocol is the result of the Earth Summit that took place in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in 1992. The main objective of the protocol was to limit the emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
