Commodity

A commodity is a type of investment that is available for trading on a futures market. This type of material is a physical good that does not differ in different ways and can be traded according to how much money it is going to be worth in the future. Commodity options include grains, livestock, oil and metals. These can be traded through many markets including the Chicago Board of Trade and the London Metals Exchange.
