FASB stands for Financial Accounting Standards Board, an organization with the ultimate goal of improving financial accounting standards, and reporting to guide users of financial statements such as, issuers, auditors, and all other users. The Financial Accounting Standards Board is made of five members. The FASB issues Standards, Interpretations and Staff Positions, Financial Accounting Concepts, and Emerging Issues Task Force Statements.
